"We were still sticking to our guns as much as possible but we had to fight the record company. They wanted a single and a ballad on the record. Respect to George, he always wanted to put out the heavier stuff as a video. The record company just told us no. Thank God for our true fans who always knew that Dokken is a heavy rock band. I remember we had this guy who created these outfits for us, he also created outfits for Judas Priest so we thought we were in good hands, we played one show with Aerosmith and I was like FUCK THIS!
I can’t jump around and look like an idiot! I can’t stand these clothes! We literally spent thousands of dollars on these clothes and we never wore them again. We wore them for like one or two shows. So I just threw on my leather pants and biker boots and said FUCK IT!.
