Hear ADAM JONES’ re-TOOL-ed WWE theme for PÉNTA

WWE themes keep getting heavier.

Following up on Kerry King’s recent riff-flying WrestleMania appearance alongside Damian Priest, masked grappler Pénta has now re-upped his ring music with extra guitar work from none other than TOOL’s Adam fucking Jones.

Per Pénta’s appearance on last night’s Monday Night RAW taping in Omaha, Nebraska, the wrestler’s guitar-blazing “The Fire Is Coming” theme has now been re-TOOL-ed by Jones, whom broadcasters naturally gassed up as “one of the greatest guitarists of all time.” They added that the track now features Jones’ “specific playing technique that has been heard since the early Nineties and around the globe.”

You can face Pénta and Jones' tag-team firestorm via the RAW clip down below. If you want to hear the theme without all the pyro explosions and announcer chatter, let it be known that “The Fire is Coming” will also be coming to streaming platforms “soon.”

Word on how exactly the collab got off the ground is as yet undetailed, though Jones is apparently a longtime a fan of the veteran Mexican luchador. Back in October of 2016, a TOOL performance at Little Rock, Arkansas’ Verizon Arena found Jones sporting a Pénta-style mask for the night. You’ll find a little bit of that performance down below.
